I've been buying Saucony since the Jazz series back in the 1980's. The Hurricane line has had some big mistakes, such as Hurricane 9 & 10. But they finally got it right with the 11. The fit is great (I wear one size larger than normal for my marathon runs)

This shoe is just great! It fits wonderfully. I only buy Saucony now since the fit is perfect for me. No rubbing or tight spots and the heel is not loose. It is very, very comfortable and supports and cushions the foot quite well. All in all, it is a wonderful shoe!

I love the Hurricane X, but the arch seems to have moved in the XI to where it causes me pain to wear them. I tried a Superfeet insole, which made the problem worse. I hope that the Hurricane X continues to be available, because I can't wear this shoe.

Have been a Kayano loyalist since the IXs, but the new lacing on the 15s was a little too radical-looking for me. I'm 5'10" and 160 and overpronate. Got fitted for the Hurricane as an alternative. HUGE MISTAKE. 100 miles later, I am dealing with nagging piriformis, IT Band and hamstring tendinitis issues. Little toes rub the outer edge of the shoe. THe 'Arch lock" feature irritated my arch. This was a $140 mistake.

I have been running in Hurricanes for 10 years, best shoe ever. I have narrow heels, low arch and need room in toe box and these fit like they were made for me, and provide great support and wear well. Keep making hurricanes Saucony.

I'm a tall, thin runner cursed with flat feet, bunions and narrow heels. I run 20 miles+ per week and run a lot of hills. My last shoe was the Nike Triax and wasn't overly thrilled with it so thought I would try Saucony's (again). It is a great stability shoe but it is a little narrow in the toe box and after running a few miles of hills I noticed my little toes were starting to rub on the insides of the shoe. I also did not find it all that flexible for running NC hills. The heel was nice and snug though - great for narrow heels. I ended up sending them back after testing them on two short runs (I foresee blisters on longer runs) and exchanged them for the new Nike Triax 12. We'll see how those differ from the 11 model.

Same review as 'anonymous'. Exactly the same complaint. I find much stiffer and noisy as well as soreness. Wasn't able to take mine back..

I loved the flexibility of the 10's, these feel much stiffer and less comfortable. even after giving them a chance to "break in" they still gave me soreness on the soles of my feet during shorter runs (4 mi) and longer runs (10+ mi). decided to take mine back.

I just ran the Army 10 miler in these right out of the box and although they weren't as cushiony as I would have liked, I felt good after the run was over. I wish there was more support and cushioning under the ball of the foot. I'm actually returning my pair. Great for short runs, but nothing long.

I love the way these shoes felt, but for some reason my left foot did not seem to agree with this shoes. I got a blister around the arch of my left foot, however my right foot was fine in it. I ended up returning them but did feel that they were comfortable just not for me I guess.

Gotta say very happy with shoe right out of the box - ran 11 miler on Sunday and had no problems...they say this shoe is for heavy runners, but I'm about 5'3, 130 lbs - like the wide platform and roomy toebox.

My first pair of Hurricanes and I love them! I'm going to buy another pair to alternate. I need extra stability in my shoes and these are the best I found. Doubt I will buy anything but Saucony for my running shoes.

Best hurricanes yet. They are lighweight, very well cushioned, nice wide toe box, and very well ventilated. I, too have been in Saucony's for 10 years, and these are my favorites. I have 2 pair that I alternate, but just because i love the new colors, too!!!

Very happy with these shoes. I have worn Saucony shoes for the last 8 years and these are the best ones I have tried yet.

I love this shoe! I think i'm on my 3rd or 4th pair, but don't get me wrong, they hold up well. I use the older pairs as cross trainers. The arch support is great, roomy toes, soft landings. I like that they aren't tight and that cool air can come in through the toes.
