I wear these shoes EVERY day and buy them regularly. I can't live comfortably without them. Since I purchased them over a year ago, I no longer have pain (I had chronic foot, leg and back pain). My feet are almost flat and use custom orthotics with them. I buy a new pair every three months or as they wear down, support-wise. They run slightly small, so I buy a half size larger than normal. They are worth every penny.

At 53 and 275 Lbs, I decided that if I wanted to be a great grandfather, I better do something and loose the weight. So I started going to the YMCA twice daily. First walking a mile in the a.m. and walking a mile in the p.m.
I then introduced some jogging. It was then that my feet and leggs started to hurt. The young lady at the "Y" recomended "Road Runner" and the ability to match me with a custom fitted shoe.
I thought Bull. But you know what I spent more money than I have ever spent on these shoes, and custom insole, along with the special "dry socks" and all my foot pains have almost completely disappeard. These are FANTASTIC shoes and I would and will buy them again. In fact i'm going to buy a second pair for walking around the mall and park. Spend the money. You won't regrete it !!!

I am in the military and love to tell people we get paid to run and of course we have to have to in good physical shape. Years ago I discovered Asics Gel-Nimbus and wore nothing but that shoe. I went to buy a new pair Asics, but my store was out of them in my size so I thought I would "settle" for another shoe because my others were wore out. I run on average of 25+ miles and I am glad I "settled" on these shoes. They are extremely comfortable, provide support in all the right places, very breathable and extremely light. I have bad bunions from wearing and living in combat boots for almost a year so they feel a little tight in that area of my foot, but it is not the shoes fault. If you've never tried this I would recommend it.

Great cushion and very stable. 5'10" and 175. A bit narrower in the toe box than I'm used to from Saucony. Would prefer a little more room and they would be perfect.

Good shoe overall, very heavy and clunky, but great for long easy runs. Excellent cushioning and stability. Did wear them for a speed workout and felt like I was wearing bricks - my own fault though.

Nice shoe at first but after a few runs in them it became very apparent that this shoe is very narrow, especially in the toe box. Narrow to the point where it actually becomes painful. Buyer beware as it seems to affect some but not all.

Almost perfect........Totally agree with what Jeff posted on Sept 09 . U can't stop raving about the shoe in the first few runs.. Mind you , technically this shoe has no issues. But slowly the narrowness of the shoe starts killing the long runs. Why can't Saucony make this shoe wider. They will nail the category of Stability / Stability + shoes.

I wanted to find an additional shoe that I could alternate with my Kayano 15. I tried many as well as the Huricane X (not enough cushion or support for me, I'm 6'/180)and was told to wait for the Xl...Love them! Much improved in my opinion, with more cushioning and stability. I would put them right up with the Kayano 15. A great every other run exchange between the two.

This is my 3rd pair of this shoe. I love them. I need stability and cushioning to help my pronation problem. They a very comfortable. I'm sorry they quit making them. I hope the new model is as good as this one.

A little heavier than I'm used to, but, the cushoning makes up for that. Feels great.

I have a slight pronation so these shoes work wonderfully for me. Great support for longer runs.

These shoes are very comfortable and well worth the price. I tried other brands and once I tried these shoe, I have stuck with this make and model for the past 5 years. I have done marathon and triathlon training in this model and love them. I would highly recommmend this shoe!

I've been running for over 20yrs and have tried all the major brands. I've had the most success with the Saucony Grid shoes. I must be on my 10th pair and 5th generation of the grid model. My advice for Saucony is to keep up the great work. Sincerly, john from boston, ma

great shoe and a great price (got it on sale)Shoe feels a little narrow in the toe area, so far no blisters or black nail from it though. I bought these to replace some Kayano 15's that killed me. These shoes are way more comfortable for me.

Use these for road running about 15+ miles per week. I'm 225 lbs, and these have really good cushioning. They are every bit of stability+ shoes - right out of the box I had no more mild shin splints and absolutely no sore knees from overpronating. Absolutely amazing how the shoe straightened out my stride and took the pressure off my knees.

I love this runner. Great support when getting around the town. Excellent cushioning when running on the road. Very light and ventilated to keep feet dry in the hot Texas summers. This is a must buy for the avid runner looking to fight foot fatigue.
