I bought these at the RoadRunners Sports store on recommendation from the sales person after I said the my street shows were ProGrid Omni 8. I liked the Omni 8 on trails, but the rainy weather was coming. They seemed a little snug at first, but then I think the Omni 8 felt the same when I first got them. This is a really comfortable shoe. It's definitely more of a hybrid than a pure trail shoe. The cushioning is good, and the upper is really soft and plush. The tread is smaller and closer together than pure trail shoes, but they've shed what mud I've run in well so far. I've been on about 5 runs or so ranging from 3-6 miles and haven't had any complaints. Dirt hasn't gotten in on dusty trails either. I don't think these shoes are made for really wet or rocky conditions, but for fire trails, or somewhat rocky or muddy conditions these shoes should be just fine.
