After recovering from the Leadville 100 Trail Run for the past couple of weeks, I started running all of my training runs in these shoes. I absolutely love them because they force me to run on my midfoot and forefoot. These shoes are not for people who are not willing to run like God intended you to run. I also run in Vivram Fivefingers, so take my review with a grain of salt. However, for a person desiring a great shoe for speed workouts and races 1/2 Marathon and below. Bottom line- BUY! THIS! SHOE! Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Type A3 Racing Shoe: This running shoe has a elastic band inside that bothered me a lot, causing some pressure and more thighness. On the other hand feels like a feather, good cushioning on both heel and toe. Durable material and very good. I am a racewalker, skinny, 125 +/- and like this shoe except for the elastic band inside. Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Type A3 Racing Shoe: Nice Shoe. I'm back to using flats for everything (trainers, trail, races). This has a little higher heel than my Mizuno Musha or Nike Streak XC 2's. A great long distance racer with a stable feel. Fit: Snug heel, perfect midfoot volume, and the toe-box is soft and shallow but comfortabely wide (not sloppy). No uncomfortable overlays! The strap inside doesn't bother me a bit...I'd simply cut it off if it did. Length: runs a hair shorter than the Musha, and a lot shorter than the Streak XC 2 (XC 2 is longer than orig. XC). Comfy ride and looks great too. I'll buy more of these. Displaying reviews 1-3 Your Help Is HereShop with confidence knowing your team of Fit Experts is waiting to answer all your questions.
