Comments about Mens Saucony Shay XC Spike Cross Country Shoe: I am a hs xc runner and have tried several spikes including these, being the nike forever xc which i loved, and the Nike waffle racer 6 which I disliked. These shoes have such an aggresive traction that i don't remember one occasion where i felt disconnected or slipped form the ground this past season. They have a remarkable amount of cushiong for its size and purpose and fits very snuggly. Its true to size and has a comfortabe interior allowing you to run without socks. Its super responsive and you def feel fast in it! So to all xc runners this needs to be a serious consideration.....or choose the shay 2, it has the same midsole but a redisigned upper.

Comments about Mens Saucony Shay XC Spike Cross Country Shoe: I started with the shay spikeless cross country flat in high school XC, when i entered college track i decided to specialize in LONG distance (5 and 10ks). Perfect spike for these distanes. It gives you the durability and comfort of a flat, while giving you the traction of a spike. These qualities really help on older tracks! A great choice for any distance athelete!
