I am new triathlete but lifetime athlete. In the short time I have been competing in triathlons I have been through four pairs of race shoes (Zoot Ultratempo, Nike Free Air, Asics DS Trainer 15 and Saucony Grid Fastwitch 4). Out of all those shoes I feel like the Fastwitch 4, are tied with the Zoot Ultratempo for the lightest, but are by far the most comfortable to run in. I wear them with no socks and I have not had any blisters or issues at 5K, 10K, Sprint or International Distance Triathlons. Don't expect these shoes to last long they are essentially a speed work and race day shoe. In addition the toe box is a little wide and roomy. Being a minimal shoe I recommend working your way into these shoes if you are not use to running in ultraminimal shoes. All in all this shoe is very fast and offers me good stability for my slight overpronation.

I have taken up barefoot running, but was looking for a lightweight minimalist shoe that would provide some protection. These shoes feel fantastic! My first run in them was a 6 miler. They provide a great cushy feel, almost like running on clouds. They are so light though, that you hardly notice them on your feet. Great level of comfort, support and cushion with minimal weight and sole thickness. I have not had them long enough to comment on the durability, but I would definitely order again. Note: I am a light, neutral runner who runs up to 8 miles barefoot, so these may not work for everyone. However, I would go so far as to say they are my favorite shoes in years. I would buy one half size larger than your measured size.

Use to train on oval track. Loved them for recent 5k race. Shoe is lightweight and efficient. Currently use it with orthotics.

I am training for a marathon and ultra. I use these shoes for my track and tempo workouts. I love everything about these shoes! I cannot wait to get another pair for my races!

My first pair of light weight racers. I've worn the shoes just a few miles, but love them. They provide the same feel and stability as my heavy trainers. I hope to shave off a little time on my next 5K. These shoes are more stable and supportive to my feet than I imagined, I was thinking the weight savings would have sacrificed some of these attributes. Loving these shoes so far.

I have orthotics, so keep that in mind, but overall the shoe is great. Very lightweight, stiff midsole, and it's been a great running shoe for the last couple months. The only minor problem that I have with this pair is that they seem to wear quickly. Not super quick, but quicker than a pair of brooks i rotate into the mix.

Very light and fast, but not so minimal that they cannot be used for long distance training. i wore them for a 10 miler right out of the box.

I am i great runner and these shoes are great for cross country race flats and for any fast running, the shoes are amazingly comfortable and very light, but it does wear out quicker than others.

After finding 'the' shoe for me (Grid Tangent) was nervous about having to switch to new Grid shoe. And have had issues with lack of medial support in another Saucony. But this model has everything I want and nothing I don't. Relatively low profile, feels quick, very lightweight. Great for fast workouts all the way to long training.

These shoes are the first light weight shoes I have worn that had a little bit of support to them. They wear out quick, but you have to give up something to get 7 oz shoes. I really like these shoes. Would really like a different color though.

For efficient runners that like to feel the road somewhat, these are great shoes. They are exceptionally breathable (and drain!) with a very high degree of flexibility. The sole feels "soft" compared to some shoes, but the shoe remains soft and has moderate durability. I've run several marathons in these shoes and always have them in my suite of 3-4 shoes that I alternate through.

I have run in almost every performance shoe there is, and these shoes rock..Lightweight with just enough stability. Did two 1/2 Ironmans right after I got them,and they felt great..

Got to replace Asics Gel Bandito. Nice feel for a posted flat. Haven't run long in the shoe yet but first impressions are positive. First big test will be 10 mile race in a few weeks. If that goes well, I'll use up to HM distances in addition to speedwork as I did with the Bandito

The major negative is that they seem to be 1/2 too small, which is annoying when buying on line. Other minor gripes are that they feel a touch narrow in the forefoot yet have some sloppy mesh by the midfoot.

I'm a freak for the run. I love to run, night, day, rain, sun, snow, cold, you name it I run in it. I had an accident that they told me I would never run again. Guess again! I started by getting shoes from RRS and took my time. I've been a customer of RRS for a long time, and I don't know how long. but thet help me overcome alot of things and I can't thank them enough. Good racing shoes for longer distances - Ran Boston Marathon with them and they were great. They have a lot of extra stability, especially considering their weight - 7 oz.

I recommend them for anyone looking for a fast shoe with good stability.
