Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Running Shoe: Much better/ improved sole than the 8's. However, I started having achilles issues (no change in running duration/ intensity) right after switching. Had no problems in the 8's. Wondering if they changed anything that could have impacted this. Otherwise, I think it's been a good shoe and I liked the 8's. I'm going to try something else and see if achilles is better.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Running Shoe: I ran in the Hurricane 10's and loved the cushioning. These shoes continue to have that good cushioned feel. They are a bit heavy, but that comes with cushioning. I bought a half size bigger than the Hurricane 10's I had because they felt a bit tight. Would rather have a bit more room than not. Will get a better idea with some more miles in them. Overall good feel.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Running Shoe: As an older runner, I was intrigued by the recent minimalist trends. But my feet suffered, and I found I just plain needed the support. I had never tried Saucony before, but this shoe seems to have superior arch support over the Asics Gel-Kayano (my old stand-by). The shoes are a little heavier than I am used to, but so far this has not been an issue.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Running Shoe: I've worn out many pairs of Progrid Omnis, but these were my first Omni 9's. I rarely get blisters, however, these shoes the first time out, gave me blisters on my right middle toe and back of my right heel. After a few more runs, the blisters healed and the shoes are great, just like previous Omnis.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Omni 9 Running Shoe: They are a little heavy, but I like the extra cushion. Only problem I really have is that the right foot shoe feels bigger & I can't get it as tight as I would like. They look really good. Way more reflective material than the 8's. They seem to be wearing well ( only about 40 miles on them as of Nov. 24, 2010). If you wore the 8's, you will like the 9's.
