Reading comments about this shoe, I bought them from RRS a 1/2 size larger, and with my orthotics, that has worked out great for me. I have a very narrow heel with a broad foot (best fitted by the Saucony Jazz), and these are a little loose in the heel, but unstable with additional (in addition to my orthotics) heel support. I run primarily on mountain logging roads in West Virginia which have a ruts and potholes and are not paved. These shoes have been terrific for these wet conditions. I highly recommend this model.

After watching the snow fall all last winter, I went on a quest to find shoes to run in when it gets ugly. These things fit the bill perfectly. Just finished a run in 4" of snow and feet were bone dry. Only down side to the shoes I have found is if it is above 40F they make your feet sweat, but as I bought these for running in temps below that and snow I am totally happy. I normally wear Asics and the sizing is the same. Arch support not quite as good as my Asics Nimbus, but sufficient for trail running.

At first I thought these would be to heavy and stiff to run in, I normaly run in Saucony ProGrid Kinvara, very light minimalist shoe. I was surprised though, they weren't to bad. I ran through watter several inches deep and my feet stayed compleatly dry. These will be great for winter snow running. They will also make great light comfortable hiking shoes. My only gripe is that an 8 is to small but in the 8 and 1/2 on very uneven off road running my foot slips from side to side, very roomy in the shoe.

Use it for trail running in fields and woods, especially in snow and mud. Very comfortable, keeps feet dry. Good cushioning and support for a neutral runner. They are so comfortable, I wear a second pair for work daily in winter as I work mostly outside.

They are a little stiff at first, but since I broke them in, they are amazing. I walk my dog in the snow and slush. These are waterproof and don't let anything in because of the gaiter. The cinch and lock closure for the laces is great too because it would otherwise be difficult to tie them.
