My third grader is not the fastest runner, but he really wants to improve. These shoes are light weight and comfortable to him. I can see by the way he walks and runs that they have the perfect fit for him. He only complained on the second day that the shoe was constricting his pinky toes. This was easily remedied with thinner socks.

My only complaint is that the whole shoe gives me the impression as if it isn't going to last very long. Several of the threads are coming undone already, and he's only worn the shoes for about two weeks. I hope the shoe stays intact until he needs the next size up. Not a great value for the price.
