Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: This lightweight shoe has nice arch and heel support. Ran in them for the Boston marathon 4/18/11 and they felt great. I do most of my training in a stability+ shoe. The Fastwitch 5 offers enough support and control for long races and speed workouts. Go out on a fashion limb and get the bright green ones.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I am a relatively lightweight runner (120 lbs) who has shifted to a more forefoot style of running over the last year. Previously, I wore the Asics Gel 1140, but I was looking for something that was lighter and with a less built-up heel. Also, I have narrow feet and I prefer a shoe with a more responsive, firm feel. The Fastwitch 5 delivers in all of these categories. The shoe feels light, almost like a racing flat, but it still has enough support for my flat feet in the medial arches. Also, the low heel promotes a more forefoot type of stride. However, the thing that sold me on the Fastwitch 5 was the fit. The foam in the collar perfectly holds my heel in place and the rest of the shoe snugly grabs the top of my foot while still giving my toes some room for movement. I have done track workouts, hill workouts and easy runs on pavement ranging from 2-7 miles. Also, I raced a 5k in this shoe last weekend. The Fastwitch 5 has felt fast and comfortable thus far. My only suggestion for this shoe is more color options (maybe black or blue?).

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I haven´t used them a lot, I am still getting used to them. I used them for a couple of times to run in the band for 2 miles and speed runs, I am still preparing them for 5k or 10k. I am 6'3 and 216 pounds, I was looking for a shoe that can help me to improve my performance and give me something ligth. I will use them for competition only, I will give an update once that I have my first race. But these are not the kind of shoes that I will use for a half marathon or marathon.

Comments about Mens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: Well I have switched my running style lately to fore/mid foot striking. I have been wearing New Balance minimus 2.0 trails and love them but I was looking for something with a little more cushion for when I needed a break from no cushion.
