Best Uses Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I returned these. They had almost no cushion and were very stiff. The arch was poor and hit my foot at the wrong place. They gave me sore feet!

Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I've been walking trying to build up to running (it's been years) but I have the worst shin splints. I had some success with nike zoom making my shin hurt less, but the pain was still there. When I saw that this minimal shoe had stability support I had to try them on. I still can't get over how light they are. I have high arches so I do use my insole rather than the one the shoe came with. I also got a half size larger than I normally get. The size nines felt fine, but I was paranoid about having the toe box too snug as I like wiggle room for my toes. When I took my 9.5s home I compared them to my nikes they were the same size. So far I've had these shoes about a month and I'm up to running a mile without feeling like my shins are going to blow out! I'm so happy I randomly tried this shoe on.

Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I used to run in Saucony's and loved them, but switched to Asics Gel Kayano's a few years ago. While they were great shoes, they felt a bit heavy, so I recently came back to Saucony. I was a bit worried to go to a more minimal shoe (I run 20+ miles/week and did not want to "slowly build up" in the new shoe) but the transition has been easy. Overall, I like this shoe and have had no problem maintaining the same mileage. I also like that they cost about 60% of what the Kayano costs :-)

Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: I have been looking for something to replace my Saucony Tangents for speedwork and racing. I wear and 6-6.5 in street shoes. I always size up to a 7 in running shoes. These were extremely short and narrow. My toes were bumping the end of the shoe the second I put them on. They are extremely light- probably would not be a good marathon shoe for me which is really what I was hoping for.

Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: So disappointed in the 5's. I know their "minimalistic", but there is no comfort in these shoes. I've run in the 3's, the 4's and in Newtons and I really don't like these. They're way more narrow overall and my feet actually hurt after my first five, let alone 10. I'm really upset with these as I have had 6 pairs of past Fasttwitches and can't find them anymore. Please bring the old ones back!!

Comments about Womens Saucony Grid Fastwitch 5 Running Shoe: Loved the 4's. Heard a lot of talk about the 5's (not as comfy, more narrow toe box, etc.), but I bought 2 pairs of these anyway! I LOVED the crazy, bright teal ones. They were fine for me, just not as comfy or as durable as the 4's. I ran 3 marathons with the 5's and they were great-no blisters, foot pain, etc. A word to the wise-stay on paved roads with these, you can really feel rocks, twigs, etc. if you step on them.
