Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: This shoe is more than I expected. I thought because of the light weight I wouldn't get a shoe with adequate cushoning, but that is not the case.I have been wearing Asics 2100 series for the last 5 years or so and these are every bit as comfortable. I highly recomend these shoes.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I have run in Saucony Kinvaras for the past year and love that shoe, but felt I could use a bit more cushioning on weekly longer road runs. The Mirage most definitely fits the bill. Similar feel and drop as in the Kinvara, but in a less minimalist shoe. I run about 40-50 miles a week and find these to be very comfortable, especially nicely cushioned for the weight of the shoe. I am currently alternating the Mirage with the Kinvara, using the Kinvara for faster runs. Until last year, I was not a big Saucony fan, but they now have me totally hooked. Great work Saucony!

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I have had the Mirage for a little over three weeks. I have been very impressed since the first run. It is clearly too early to rate the shoes on durability. I have been wearing basic neutral cushioned trainers (Reebok Verona I, II, and Supreme, Brooks Defyance 4). The Mirage is less cushioned than the other shoes that I have been wearing lately, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I am a midfoot striker who truly appreciates the lower heel height. The shoe has performed well. It does lack a bit of traction in snow and ice. It grips the road very well in dry and rainy conditions. I am finding it difficult to put on the other shoes that I had been wearing because I like these so well.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I have been a runner for 35 years (19 marathons-PR 2:56) and this is the best shoe I've ever had. I don't know how they combined so much cushioning and support in such a lightweight flexible shoe. I use if for my 4 1/2 mile commute to work (2 miles gravel, 2 1/2 pavement) as well as long runs on the weekends (gravel).

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I have high arches and pronate, so every salesperson tells me I need stability or stability+ (including RRS after going through the shoe dog process). I am training for a marathon, so I bought into the stability hype. I purchased some Mizuno Nirvanas from RRS and regretted it after my first long run. My ankles, knees, and back were killing me and for the first time I had what felt like plantar fasciitis. I tried to tough it out, but was constantly sore. I then started reading about the natural running trend and bought into the theory. My prior shoes had been Saucony ProGrid Guide 3's which gave me few problems, so I decided to try the Mirage's after reading several glowing reviews.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: This shoe was delivered from RRS yesterday and I immediately took them out for 5 miles over pavement and grass. It might be too early to say, but I think I'm in love! It's been a long time since I found a shoe that fit so well--the heel stays snug and the toe box is nice and roomy. Not much padding, encouraging good mechanics, but plenty of support. They're light and fast, and breathe well even on a humid day.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I broke these in (not that they needed breaking in at all) running 37.3 miles of a relay on a variety of surfaces and I've never been happier with the performance of any shoe. I train a lot in VFFs and will continue to use the Mirage as my race shoe - they seem to compliment each other nicely. I look forward to trying the Peregrine next.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: Great shoe, only problem has been a small blister on inside of forefoot. I wanted something with some stability but not so bulky, these are it. Finished my first marathon in them.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: after months of research about my foot type and manufacturers brands and runners world reviews. i swithced from a much larger shoe manufacturer to these shoes because of the review they received from [@] and because i was tired of lugging around heavy and oversized shoes that only partially fit right and they all seemed to be foot heaters up to this point. these shoes so far are world's better than anything i've run in before. they fall into the "minimalist" category but only in weight. the support is awesome. the cushioning is great and evn more than im used to. the upper wraps well for being as minimal as it is and it breahes like a dream with each stride. the heel cup is a little lower on the achilies side than i am used to but the heel stays put and shoe doesn't slide at all. the added mid foot support on the sole creates great arch support even with stock inserts. the toe box is ultra roomy and the upper doesnt bug my feet with seems or wraps or anything like other shoes. this simplicity is beautiful, the shoe feels great and the miles fly by. from an 11.8 oz shoe to these bad boys makes me feel like i'm having a hard time keeping up with my shoes! and they're still heavier than a race flat so the benefits of race flats is still felt on race day. I absolutly dig these shoes. plus it's an american brand and i feel a little patriotic buying them.

Comments about Mens Saucony ProGrid Mirage Running Shoe: I have had the Mirage for about three weeks now. I have found them to be great shoes so far. I can't really comment on durability yet. I am a 6', 190 lb midfoot striking runner. These are a little less cushioned that the neutral trainers I have previously been wearing, but that is not a bad thing. I am liking these so much I am finding it harder to put on my other pairs of shoes (Reebok Verona II, and Brooks Defyance 4).
