        I have been through the gambit with motion control shoes as I over pronate and log a lot of miles. This shoe has been fantastic and does not sacrifice weight for lack of motion control.

        I have been a long time ASICS wearer and recently decided to try something new because I was tired of the very limited style and options available to people like me who need Motion Control Shoes. I usually buy a 1/2 size up in my running shoes. I wear a 10.5 shoe, and buy the 11 in running shoes. This shoe fits much more snugly than the ASICS. The 11 is still good for me, because I generally have a slightly narrow foot and it was a half-size up. But you may want to consider that when looking at this shoe. Overall the support and comfort is excellent. Because of the smaller size it takes me longer to loosen the laces and then secure them once the shoe is on. I am not a heavy runner (only about 15 to 20 miles a week) and I also wear them to lift weights in the gym. I do interval workouts (lifting/running) along with sprints and then two or three days when I run about 3 to 4 miles straight outside. Overall this is a good product and I do recommend it if you have been previously wearing the ASICS Gel-Evolution 6. I was very unhappy with those when I got them because they looked like Old-man walking shoes. Not sure why they can't make a decent looking shoe with cool colors for those of us who need motion control shoes.
