I am coming off an injury to my thigh. I was running in Nike Free Runs but felt I needed something to help with the impact of running because of my injury. I was very skeptical of "regular" running shoes but knew I didn't need to stick with the minimalist shoe. I LOVE these Progrid Ride 4's. My feet really feel like they do not touch the ground! I will use them for mid to longer runs and will use the Mirage for fast runs or short races. I wore the Ride's on a 13 mile run last weekend, my legs and feet felt great, and I have not ran farther than 9 miles since February of this year! So that is def saying something good!
