Comments about Womens Saucony PowerGrid Cortana Running Shoe: Have been through at least 2000 bucks worth of shoes over the past 3 years trying to find something that allows me to run 4-5 days a week without pain. I was very happy with the Kinvaras until my regular runs got around 5 miles (definately needed more cushion underfoot) These shoes are very similar in design (still 4mm heel/toe) to the Kinvaras (as far as I can tell) with MORE CUSHION. They are a little bit heavier, but on the road I didn't notice after the 1st run. I know the price is crazy, but these shoes are so worth it. I've put about 40 miles on them so far and I don't have any complaints...can even run 4 days in a row and feel pretty good. P.S. I'm 42 and about 145.

Comments about Womens Saucony PowerGrid Cortana Running Shoe: Took them out on some short runs (2-3) miles, as I want to build before regular use. So far, comfortable ride, fits well, with nice flexibility. A couple of things: I'm pretty much mid-heel striker so these encourage that, I have bunions and these accommodate them, and they're my first shoe with a lower heel to toe drop. Used to use Asics, but I think I might be heading back to Saucony..Hope to use for my next half marathon. Overall, a solid shoe to step away from heel strike, but have some cushion in the process.

Comments about Womens Saucony PowerGrid Cortana Running Shoe: The Cortanas have quickly become my favorite trainer and love them so much I often wear them in races instead of my other favorite the Kinvara 2's. I run over 45 miles per week and these are the only shoes I can run long runs in (over 15) without foot or knee pain. In fact, I have run in other shoes had slight knee pain, then switched to these mid-run and had the pain go away in the first few minutes in the Cortanas. I have over 20 different models of running shoes, all neutral and neutral Plus and this pair beats every one of them for comfort and responsiveness. One thing I love is how unrestricting the top of the shoe is, nothing like other shoes I own, except Zoot Kalanis, another favorite in 3rd place. Finally, I found the ideal shoe! There are NO negatives I can think of for these shoes.
