I run on a rocky trail and you can feel the rocks through the bottom of the shoes. But they really are true to what they aim to be, which is "barefoot". They are fine when running on the road.
I only gave it 4 stars because they seemed a little small and being a size 11 I didn't have the option of moving up to 11.5. Also, they wore out fairly quickly, but that might be related to running on such a rocky suface.
Bottom line, if you are looking for a barefoot shoe for running on the road, this is for you. But use caution if you are running on rough surfaces.

I love saucony's! And I think I would really have loved these shoes if they fit more true to size. I wear an 8.5 in running shoes and I should have ordered a 9.5. Due to the tight fit it caused me blisters everytime I ran.

    i wear these shoes to crossfit and they are great to workout in - i also wear them on shorter 3=5 mile runs. i love these shoes. only drawback is i have only had mine for about a month and they are starting to fall apart at the front, but only on one shoe. hopefully roadrunner will take care of this.

        This shoe completely rocks! I have worn Saucony Kinvaras in the past, but love this one better. The shoe feels completely natural on my feet and don't feel like I am fighting with the shoe to gain control of my stride. I totally recommend this shoe to a serious runner looking for a minimalist type of shoe.
