These were my first running shoes. I'm a road and pavement runner, and I have wide feet so it is often hard for me to find any type of athletic shoe that is truly comfortable, let alone to run in. I have arch problems in my left foot and issues with overpronation. However my right foot is just fine. These shoes helped add stability to my left foot while not over correcting or causing a problem for my right. Wide, breathable and comfortable. The only complaint for me was they felt a bit heavy at times, but that may just have been when my legs were at their most tired
