Bought these for an outer layer over shorts when running to the gym on bitter cold days - they fit the bill perfectly. A bit too baggy for me to wear running all the time but I like compression if I did not then these would be great running pants - as an over layer however these are perfect and the cost cannot be beat!

When you are too old to wear "sweats" but still want to pull on a comfy top and bottom to walk the dogs, go for a quick run either around the park or just to the corner for a paper-these fit the bill. I decided to spend a bit more than $15.00 so I didn't look like I was trying to look like a 45 year old trying to look like a 25 year old and it worked. I always look presentable (more so than the 25 yos!) They are warm enough to wear alone through Fall, but I live in the Midwest, so a rough winter may dictate a pair of tights underneath. Because they are narrower at the ankle, length is not an issue for me (I am 5'3"). I can wear petite or medium length and they look fine. I am on my second pair and the only problem I have had thus far was on the second pair with the pocket zippers. They were never as easy to maneuver, didn't last as long, never seemed as durable and seemed misplaced on the sides. Don't know if it was a bed pair, different zipper product or what, but they just didn't meet the quality of the first pair.

This was a replacement for Mizuno pair that finally were retired. If these can last the 10+ years that the Mizuno's did, then I have found the perfect pair. Great feel, nice fit, especially since there is a tie to cinch the waist. If you are older, wearing another compression layer would prevent sagging showing through. The weight is perfect.

These are just slightly relaxed. I am 43 years old and realize I ought not run in tights. These are a great alternative. The cuffs are zippered and therefore there is no contact when I run. I have worn this with and without base layer tights. I ran in weather that was 20 degrees with base layer and felt slightly chilled.
