Tried a pair of Asics Kayano 15s and I had issues with knee pain. After talking to RRS rep tried the Solomon Whisper and the kee pain is gone when I run. Tried the Asics on the tread mill once more and knee pain came back-went back away when I put the whisper back on-love these shoes-do both trail, TM and road running

So far so good with these shoes. Positives: great traction; excellent toe protection; and simple lacing system that stays snug. Possible negative: not a lot of forefoot cushioning so not sure how comfortable they will be on longer training runs (can't wait to find out though).
