    Was excited about this product before it hit the shelf. I've been running in Salomon shoes for over four years now and the shoes keep getting better. The XR crossmax feel amazing out of the box and the lighter weight makes this shoe great in all conditions. I highly recommend these shoes for individuals that love trail running and have to transition the occassional paved road along the way.

    I am extremely impressed. I am a personal trainer weigh 208lbs and the cushioning is still cushioning after 300 miles of trail running and track speedwork.off road traction is excellent. waterproof they are not. Need a bigger budget the price is not modest.
