    The shoe seemed just a bit bigger than true to size, not enough to go smaller. I just added an extra insert for additional comfort and to make the fit perfect! I plan on using these to hike Mt. Whitney which is a dirt trail 22 miles round trip. Love the lacing system.

    I really wanted these to fit, but they were just too stiff and wide. I wore a previous Salomon GTX shoe and loved it. I ended up giving them to my husband who has a small wide foot. He's an avid runner, but says he'll probably only hike in these because they seem so stiff.
