I got a black/pink one. The watch works great except one thing. The color of the watch(backside) keeps coming off. My wrist gets black sticky stuff from the watch after every run. After one week, all the letters on the back of the watch were gone...I am really getting annoyed by this.

Ok, I wrote one review saying I liked it. I am now returning it. I used it 4 times and while the price seemed good - far less than comparable watches, you get what you pay for. If cost is really an issue and you are a patient person who doesn't care that much about pace and cares more about tracking distance then this is fine. For me
it took so long to connect to GPS and did not connect the last 2 of the 4 times at all. The pace isn't real-time so that isn't helpful, and I don't have 15+ minutes to wait for it to connect to GPS, I am just going to splurge on the Garmin instead.

I was surprised how well this works being so inexpensive - being loyal to another brand I was skeptical, but the Soleus gives just the basics - no intervals or downloads - most people don't need that anyway. It's intuitive to work though you may need to go to their website to get set up.

Nothing fancy but works great. Turn the GPS on while stretching or getting ready as it does take some time to get locked on to a satellite. Very happy with this purchase!

So far, I am liking this watch. I haven't had any problem with the GPS signal-I just warm up while it is loading. The only thing I would recommend is to ditch the instructions that come with the watch..they are not well written. Just go to the soleus website and either download their setup instructions or watch the instructional videos there(which are easy to follow and will get you set up in no time!)

I am training for my second marathon so I purchased this watch to help keep track of mileage for training runs, and to help me keep within a certain pace. My mom purchased the Garmin Forerunner, and loves it, and based off of reviews by professional runners the Garmin is truly the best it also has more functions. Although, I did not want to shell out $249 for the Garmin at the moment and the Soleus offered everything I was looking for - pace and distance measurement. Its a good watch and good value, I am fairly pleased with it, the distance seems to be accurate. The one con is it sometimes takes a little while to connect to the GPS, longer than I have patience for, and the pace measurement is not real-time, it seems to lag a little. The watch is good for me for now, and the price was right. However, I will probably upgrade to the Garmin in the future.

Recommendation: Go for the Garmin if the price isn't an issue; however, if it is, then this watch will do just fine for the price.
