It is better looking and less bulky than the old Garmin Forerunner I have and it seems to find the signal faster. I find it more inaccurate which is not such a big deal for short training runs, but it could be a problem for races when you are trying to maintain a certain pace, or for long runs. I think it is off by about 3/10ths of a mile over a marathon distance. The battery life seems a little short. It will tell you the percentage of battery left, but I haven't learned an easy way to get that info other than hooking it up to the charger. It has a lot of features but it is complicated to set up and the user manual is difficult to understand. There should be a better way to retrieve and look at your past data (for example if you want to look at the 10th out of 30 saved runs) and I don't think you can delete a saved run. Also, it will sometimes start searching for a signal with the lightest inadvertent touch of the button (not really a big deal all you have to do is turn it off but just something to note.) The display light is a nice feature for nighttime or early morning runs. Overall, I would recommend it if you don't want to spend a lot of money and you are more of a casual/recreational runner. For the more competitive runners and those that don't mind spending the money you might want to opt for something a little better. I can't comment on how it works for biking as I have not used it for that purpose.

My coworker got me interested in Strava to track my runs. I decided to go with the Soleus to save some money and support another brand. Right out of the box, I used the watch and it worked great! It links directly to Strava for easy upload and is incredibly accurate.
The only downside is the linkup time. It does take longer to link to a satellite compared to other brands (still under a minute). But I start it while putting shoes on and we are good to go once I lace up.
Overall, for the price, it is a great product that allows you to track your runs or rides, tells you current pace, alerts at every mile, distance, etc. There are also other smaller models available! Which I may get my wife!
Great GPS watch
I bought this watch for my husband for our anniversary, my whole family runs and daughter and son in law already own the same watch, and they love it! It is a very good value for this GPS watch, and it is waterproof, can't say the same about those over priced Garmins everyone talks about. Now he just needs to understand how exactly to use it to it's full potential ...he will get there! So far he really likes it!
Great watch. Accurate as far as I can tell. Use it many times a week and only have to charge it once every week and a half or so if that even. I imagine those that need to charge it more forget to turn the GPS off after use. Fits well and buttons have never been pushed by accident during a run. I set it to pace / total distance / total time. It give split times at every mile. This makes my running fun.
exactly what I wanted
except that it has to be charged each 2 days, this is a fantastic tool for your work out, I just love it.
This is all I need.
Great basic data - nothing fancy (but it looks good) - speed, distance, chronograph. Really has more functions than I use. I wear it to work also.

Only used it four times but it is easy to use, accurate, comfortable and at a great price...
