Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: I suffer a lot in the summer with cramps in my calves, lower back, arms, fingers, toes, neck...well you get the idea. Anytime the heat and humidity is rising and I'm outdoors for longer than 2 hours I take SaltStick tablets with me and generally take one every 45 minutes of activity. I love them. They don't irritate my stomach and it keeps the cramping away. Also, I have found that I no longer wake up with calf cramps in the middle of the night. I plan on continuing my marathon training during the summer using SaltStick. Pros

Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: Took 30 tabs during 100K Ultra. Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: I just got back from a multi-day trek in the Andes where I was hiking up to nearly 5000 meters for over 9 hours a day with a limited diet. Well, SaltStick Caps helped me keep my electrolytes balanced in spite of the difficulties and are a weight-and-space-efficient alternative to drink mixes for long backpacking trips. They also make a great addition to my first aid kit to help replenish salts after digestive issues. I now use SaltStick Caps on all my long runs and no longer have any cramping issues as I did previously. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: I've occasionally gotten cramps from calves after 10 miles during the half marathon 6 times. I did Endurolytes, but it won't work. After I researched between Salt Stick and Endurolytes, I give a try to take Salt Stick for TEST, but it works now. Thank you Salt Stick!!! I'll definitely run full marathon in November this year. I highly recommend you to take Salt Stick, so you'll be more than happy to stop cramping. ;-D

Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: I used to have terrible GI cramping after runs over 4 miles. I did some reading and realized I was getting low on salt/electrolytes during my runs. My personal trainer recommended SaltStick, and I've used them ever since. They are incredibly convenient--no premixing or differentiating between water vs. electrolyte bottles on my belt. They take up very little space in my belt or pocket. Lastly, no more cramping after runs!

Comments about SaltStick Caps 100 count Nutrition: I have found proper hydration and electrolyte balance more of a challenge as I have gotten older. SaltStick Caps fill the bill. Very easy to carry on runs and have a marked effect keeping dehydration at bay. I take them all year long but especially during the warmer months. Only caution is since they contain magnesium you may have to gradually get used to taking them.

I also use these when I run in the extreme heat and humidity. Wonderful aid when recovering from either activity. Much better in your stomach than a liquid sports drink sloshing around in the stomach. I will not train without these gems!
