Definitely getting your $$ worth in shock attenuation. I did feel as though the arch support was a little "long" in the foot. After shaving off a little material on the bottom, it seems to work okay though.

Whenever I get a new pair of running shoes, the first thing I do is immediately take out the factory insoles and put in Sorbothane insoles instead. This is especially useful for motion control shoes, which I've noticed tend to have less inherent cushioning. Unbeatable!

I have used Sorbothane for years and it provides amazing cuhsioning and NEVER seems to wear out. I just bought a pair of these UltraSoles mainly because I thought the old pair I had must surely be worn out even though they still had plenty of cushioning left. Well they are even better than the older versions. They hugely imporve foot strike protection without loss of stability.

Sorbothane Ultra is a very good reliable product; lasting at least 5 pairs of shoes. Absorbs shock of running; giving you much greater distance with less fatigue. The product holds your foot in place; even if you sweat through your socks. Price is comparable to competitive brands; maybe slightly less.

Made all the difference in the world for me, these insoles ended the knee pain I had, the shin splints went away. I just put my 3rd pair into my third pair of Glycerin 8's, they certainly helped me, I'm no spring chicken, and these helped me a bunch!!

"Walking On Sunshine" was a song written by Kimberly Rew and performed by Katrina and the Waves in 1983. It was a top 40 hit making it to #9 on the charts.
The best similarity between the song and the Sorbothane UltraSole is that while I run, it is as good as it get in making your workout more comfortable! It's almost like walking on sunshine!
I am what is considered a big runner - I stand at 6'4" and weight in at almost 220 lbs. I have been running for decades and need everything I can to absorb the shock and pressure that the stress of running creates.
I have been an avid user of the Sorbothane UltraSole for years! With every new pair of shoes I buy, I remove the provided insole and replace it with the UltraSole.
Every run and every mile I have put in over the years, I feel like I am truly "Walking On Sunshine" with the Sorbothane UltraSole. It is something that makes me feel better, lessens the shock of running no my knees and the rest of my body.
If you run, walk or work out in any way that creates impact - I completely recommend the use of this product. It is truly the best product of it's kind that I have had the pleasure of using.

These aren't the lightest inserts but for daily use I've found NOTHING better. The last 10,000 miles have been run with these in my shoes. My knees and joints love them!

As an ultra-runner I need to put in a lot of miles. With it comes a lot of nagging injuries here and there. The past one would not go away with ice alone. So, a friend of mine pointed me towards Sorbothane Ultrasole Insole. Shortly after, between icing, a little extra rest and these soles I appear to be injury free. Thanks a million!

I have used the Sorbothane insoles for many years. I replace all of the insoles in my running shoes and my work boots with Sorbothane. The insoles take the brunt of the running force, instead of my knees. I normally run between 8 and 10 miles per day. Additionally, using them in work boots makes for a much more comfortable day.

I used these to get a few more miles out of my running shoes. They work pretty well and are very comfortable. I don't need a lot of stability control, so I cannot say anything about that. For me, though, I wish I would have bought them much sooner.

I've been wearing this in my running shoes for several years and it's been good to me. I do want to try the graphite ones for better arch support, since occasionally I have issues with that. It's good extra cushioning and comfortable.

Wished I had bought the graphite arch support insoles instead. THese are great for those needing pronation control, but do not have a great deal of arch support....aside from that, they made my shoes feel brand new!

I have used Sorbothane Ultrasole Insoles in my running shoes for at least ten years. I have tried others and they do not compare. Sorbothane eliminates the pounding on my feet and to my knees and hip joints. I recommend them to all runners. Also, I bought a pair for my 78 year old Dad. He wears them in his regular shoes. They have helped eliminate some of his knee pain.

Work as advertised BUT since I got my shoes fit without these insoles in, when I did purchase them and put them in, my heels began to chafe. I've cut and trimmed and sanded the heel area (obviously reducing their shock absorption properties in the process) and still getting blisters.

Recommend you buy these and then try on shoes with these otherwise great insoles.

I started using these inserts after I had some shin splints. The added cushioning was perfect. I used a high stability shoe (Gt 2110), took out the flimsy inserts and added these. That way I get the best of both: Stability and cushioning!

Although these insoles are on the heavier side, they provide incredible cushion and last forever. I put three to four hundred miles of running with these insoles then use them for casual footwear and hiking shoes. They keep their shape and are resistant to any odors. Great insoles!
