I absolutely love this insole. I purchased my first one a year ago or so to wear inside my Brooks Cascadia trail shoes to give me more pronation control. It did the trick and helped prevent problems with on-going IT band flare up. Then when I went back to running on the roads when the trails were covered with snow, I did not move this insole from my trail shoes to my road shoes. BIG mistake. IT band issues came back. In an "a-ha" moment I put the insole into my road shoes and problem solved. The long & short of it is that if you are an over pronator -- even if you are a lightweight/smaller runner (I am 5 feet tall and 110 pounds) and are prone to injury, you will love this insole. Put it into any stability shoe to make good even better. I will not run without it. The only downside is that the rigid heel part tends to become separated from the foam part but a little glue takes care of that. Otherwise -- perfect!

I have used these Sorbothane Ultra Graphic Arch insoles for many years now to control over-pronation from a soft and almost flat arch in my foot, and to recover from plantar fasciitus. Some reviewers thought the arch was not high enough but I find that it fits my arch like a glove. If you have ever had an inflamed plantar fascia you may not want too high an arch pushing into that inflamed tissue. For me these are just the right compromise between firm arch support and cushioning.

These arches are outstanding. I've used them for something like 15 years, and my leg injuries dropped dramatically. I've run more than 40 marathons and a dozen ultras including numerous 100-plus mile races. I love these insoles. Frankly, I don't buy premium shoes anymore because I think the insole is more important.

I love these....I was training for a marathon and I was up to about 15 miles when I started having problems with my ankle because of my arch in my left foot. My feet are really flat so I knew that was an issue but I had just bought some new shoes and thought that was all I needed. I got these in and ran and I had no problems at all with my foot. After I ran my ankle was fine and my foot didn't even hurt. I plan on buying these from now on for my shoes

have used these for the best part of a decade for flat feet and cushioning..running shoes to dress shoes..six stars in my book. I'm one of those "large" runners/walkers... I don't leave the house without these in my shoes - ever!

I am active duty military, currently deployed. I have severe pronation problems, and these insoles work great in my combat boots. They may not be what you're looking for as far as running goes, but for my purposes, a good choice.

I've been giving this a try after spending a lot of money on custom orthotics. Feels supportive but not as cushioned as I had hoped. This is pretty typical for my flat feet.

I was being treated for knee pain/plantar fasciaitis when Sorbathane was recommended to me by my Physical Therapist. I have comfortably logged 300+ miles and am just now ready for a new pair; they outlasted my last pair of running shoes. I would definitely recommend these insoles!

These insoles seem to be made of leading edge material and technology. However - The carbon midsole (on the underside / shoe sole side) have rigid sharp edges. I spent a lot of effort swapping these insoles between a few shoes in the stable to find the right combo. I noticed that in my Asics the carbon edge had cut into the soft foam of the sole - and this after only two or three 5-8 mile runs. I pulled them imediately and now run them on a pair of Addidas runners I have. I haven't followed up on the wear and tear, but I figure there's only so much damage than can be done. Another big problem is that the heel was way too wide for any of my running shoes. We all expect to do some trimming on insoles toe-end for length, the the heel was braod and thick - making for a tough 'hack-job' trimming to even get the heel to seat in the shoe. That said, after all the struggle and finding a good fit, they are great at shock absorbtion and arch support (low for me). I loose a little road feel and sometimes think it to be too rigid midsole, but after logging more and more 10 to 15 mile runs I find myself very happy with the insole combination of support and cushion. I imagine for work shoes / boots, or everyday wear - these would be life savers.

I started using Sorbothane Ultra Graphite Arch Insoles many, many years ago when I had a very bad case of plantar fasciitis. Not only did they help me recover faster, but because I use them consistently, I've never had plantar fasciitis again. I use them in my running shoes (including the Newton Gravity) and have used them for better arch support in hiking boots and other sports footwear. They're durable enough to use at least twice as I replace worn out running shoes. I have a neutral gait and low arch and they fit me perfectly, but might not work for people with a high arch. Worth every penny.

These are both supportive and comfortable--they rescued a favorite pair of shoes whose insoles had lost their conditioning and gotten hard, They have an excellent combination of support and cushioning. Expensive, but cheaper than a new pair of shoes.

It helped stop approaching plantar, plus clearly helped relieve general joint wear n' tear from all types of surfaces. I've been using the inserts for at least 5 years. They're not cheap, but I realized as I got older that being able to run over the long-term was worth it.

it gets one star because they simply are not as described. If you are looking for high arch support as i am then these are not for you as they are almost flat, i feel mislead by the description and am so disappointed. The quality is good and sorbothane is a great brand but these are just not what i was expecting.

While I LOVE the cushioning in these (my heels have never been so happy), I didn't find much arch support here. I rarely use these, and am thinking of giving them to my husband for his work shoes.

I started using these supports prior to my deployment last year. I put them in my boats which I was in for 15+hrs every day and what a difference! I have high arches, boney feet with no mid support because of the high arch. Translates to knee pain, etc. With these inserts what a difference. I have them in all my shoes now.

I have been using these for several years. I buy new shoes and immediately rip out the insole that comes with the shoe and put these in. I weigh >215, and use orthotics in my shoes as well. These are great.

FANTASTIC and worth the $$$. These have been perfect in my running shoes to reduce/eliminate lower back pain. To get them to fit best, I trimmeed them a little and they fit perfect. Will buy more for other shoes
