Comments about Suunto Quest Speed Pack Monitors: Daily use. Fantastic product and company. Watch seems very lightweight and not thick like GPS units. Durable and user replacable watchband and batteries show quality and non-disposable product line. Footpod easy to use, accurate, quick. I have resisted using HR belts until now, mostly because I like the recovery time feature, and the analysis on movescount. Nothing overdone or flashy here, just useful and well designed. Highly recommend. On sale, it's a great deal. Initially had problems with synching pods; mysunnto site offered solutions and Suunto helpdesk very responsive. Sometimes I miss the gps mapping, but mostly the maps are fun to look at but not useful to me, especially when I run set courses. Batterylife expected to exceed GPS for ultras.

Comments about Suunto Quest Speed Pack Monitors: I was looking for a replacement for a Garmin 210 GPS watch that wasn't holding a charge. I chose this to get away from the trouble of remembering to charge my watch. I was curious about the foot pod technology, but mine was accurate out of the box (800m track test). Easy to set up. I do wish I bought the package with the HRM because I soon ended up buying one anyway.

Comments about Suunto Quest Speed Pack Monitors: I am a female endurance athlete and gymrat and have always used a Polar FT60. I hated Polar's website and had problems with the transmitter keeping a consistent HR. I hunted high and low for a quality watch that could fit my wrist (5 1/2") and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Very user friendly and the chest strap is so comfortable I almost forget that I am wearing it. Suunto's Movescount website is excellent - you can track everything including your recovery rate, difficulties of your workouts, calories burned, etc. Love it!!!!
