I don't own this product, however, this spray is probably illegal in NYC. If you are a runner in the City and want pepper spray you must visit a gun store or pharmacy as they are the only ones licensed to sell it here. It is also illegal for it to be mailed to you; one must pick it up in person.

I never run or walk without my spray. I've used these for years and they do deter the neighborhood dogs. And when I travel, I carry it for a bit of security in strange cities.

This spray is the best ever! I feel so much more at ease when I run on trials or on the steet in the morning and at nights.
