I carry this every day when I walk and run in my neighborhood. I have used it on dogs and hope I never have to use it on a person, but having it makes me feel safer. It is easy to carry and very effective. It can provide multiple sprays before having to be replaced. Just be sure you are upwind if you spray, and be careful handling the nozzle area. I travel to races by myself a lot and I keep on with me in the car and when I stop at rest areas, especially at night.

I love the adjustable hand strap on this pepper spray. I can even wear it on my wrist, bracelet style and it works fine. Very comfortable while running and fits in my hydration zipper pack nicely.

BOUGHT THIS AS BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR SON WHO IS AVID RUNNER AND 38 YRS OLD. AFTER RUNNING THE SAME NEIGHBORHOOD FOR YEARS, LAST WEEK 2 DOGS LET OUT EARLY TO DO THEIR BUSINESS, AGGRESSIVELY CAME AFTER MY SON, WHO IMMEDIATELY HAD TO KICK THE FIRST DOG TO GET HIM BACK AND BY THAT TIME HAD HIS SPRAY READY TO GO. HE SPRAYED BOTH DOGS AS THEY CAME AT HIM AGAIN AND I DON'T THINK THEY WILL EVER GO AFTER ANOTHER RUNNER AGAIN. HAHA
THANK GOD HE HAD THAT SPRAY. HE IS SURE THEY WOULD HAVE TORE HIM UP. BOUGHT TWO MORE AFTER THIS ONE FOR MY OTHER SONS.

While on an early morning run I was approached by an aggressive, unaccompanied dog and realized I needed something for next time. This item is exactly what I had in mind. I can run without having to hold on to it as the adjustable elastic band hold it firmly in place and ready for use. The safety feature on the spray button will prevent an accidental discharge. The only negative thing I have to say is that when the velcro band is set to its largest it just barely fits my hand, which is a Large glove size but not anything huge.

I use the spray when I'm running by myself really early in the morning or really late at night, especially if it's in an area that's not very crowded. I usually run with people but I like to feel safe when I'm alone. I love that it's easy to carry and very light. It doesn't bother my hand at all and still allows me to keep good form. I think it would be nice to make them even smaller, but it's definitely great the way it is.
