Awesome shorts if you like boxer brief liners. I just ran the Portland Marathon in these and had absolutely no chafing (always a problem at distances over a half for me). Came back to buy more.

Really like these shorts. I'm 6'1" 145lbs and a small fits great. The compression short fits better than a brief liner and they breathe really well.

This is easily the best short I've ever owned for long distance running. The liner stopped all chafing - a problem that has always creeped up during ultras even with liberal amounts of Body Glide. The smooth waste band prevents the chafing caused by most other shorts (not a big problem at 5 miles but much more irritating when running 50 or more). While it is not billed as a compression liner, that is how I refer to it and so, the snug feel that the previous reviewer complained about is the way it is suppose to feel (and what prevents the chafing). The pockets are not bulky looking and sufficiently deep that the contents aren't bouncing out down the trail (I give the inside of the pocket a twist to lock the contents in place). I've had no problem with tearing I have wore a hole in a few liners but this has not impacted the short's ability to protect me. The liner also provides a certain amount of added protection in cooler weather making it a great short to wear before having to t

Versatile, comfortable and the best short I've ever had. I've had no fit trouble and the liner has ended a chronic difficulty with chaffing even with body glide. More colors please

Terrible shorts. Fit was bad: tight in the legs and loose in the waist. The shorts started tearing around the waist after a few uses. I like 2in1 shorts, but won't buy these again. I am sticking with Nike for now on.
