I respectfully disagree ...

Comments about Asics Sydney Duffle Bag:

I respectfully disagree with the previous review of this bag. Although the material may feel cheap to the touch, it is quite durable. It's very light but strong, not unlike a parachute. It's easy to associate a lightweight synthetic fabric with poor quality but I believe this is not the case with this product.
The zippers appear hefty enough to withstand the daily use to which this bag will surely be subjected, such as jamming it full of balled up clothing, squashing it and yanking on the zipper.
In fact, I was impressed enough with this bag that I purchased a second (larger) one for those times when more room is required.
A word of caution, though - I did snag one of the little feet on a locker door when pulling out the bag and tore it off. They're held on with a plastic snap and it wouldn't stay on after that incident. However, I superglued it back on and haven't had a problem since. Pretty hard to blame the bag on my negligence.

Comments about Asics Sydney Duffle Bag:

Unfortunately was not impressed, and intend to return this rather pricey mid-size duffle bag. The one feature or benefit of having separate shoe compartment, did not make up for the cheap material and/or construction. Would have been nice to have a water bottle holder on the exterior... it's a shame, other than the Asics brand logo, there was nothing to justify the high price relative to other gear bags.
