Comments about Timex Bodylink Speed & Distance Monitor:

I've had my Timex for 2 years and it has worked flawlessly. It is a great watch as well as a fitness monitor. The modular system was a plus for me. The display in exercise mode is clear and adjustable on the run. The GPS system is functional and accurate, but the dropouts around tall building and trees have forced me to a footpod system. My new Polar RS800sd is great, but I miss the simplicity of the Timex.

Comments about Timex Bodylink Speed & Distance Monitor:

This watch IS a poor performer and poorly constructed. Although I have had no problems with the HRM and the GPS (GPS runs through batteries quickly), I have had 2 watches lose the 'display' button within 8 months of use. Both my watch and my wife's have lost use of the control buttons. Changing the battery in the watch destroyed the display. This is a poorly and cheaply constructed product. DO NOT Buy. No matter how inexpensive it is not worth the frustration nor the money. buyer beware.
