I've had these watches for years, and loved them until the last couple of years when the quality has slipped to make them a waste of money -- seriously. Early function failures requiring opening the battery case - from which point on the watch isn't waterproof. Very frustrated, these were 100% reliable for years but are no longer worth it. Three strikes, they're out.

It is a comfortable watch but mine died at 9 months. Will try something different this time.

I got this mostly because the women's running watches wear out too quickly. Love the huge face, don't need to lift my arm to read it. The only down side, which I expected, is that the band is too large for my small wrist, but not so bad that it rotates on its own..in case any other ladies are looking.

The first Ironman 100 I owned was great for 7 years and then died. I have since had 3 others and NONE lasted more than 9 months. Not sure what they did to screw up a good product, but they certainly have done it. Timex - "takes a licking and then stops ticking!"

I have used this Timex for every one of the 13 marathons I have run to track my timing. I use the alarm to get me out of bed for the start line, and the chronometer to help me keep track of my minutes per mile. It has helps me to run more efficiently to reach my marathon time goals. The numbers are large and easy to read and settings are easy to change. One draw back is that when the band wears out (after several years of daily use, not a big problem), you have to find a place that has the band. A universal band would be easier to replace.

I have used this watch for many years and recently purchased this newer version. It is very reliable and I have never had a problem when changing batteries. This is a very good product.

I've worn this watch for several years. When it finally died, I removed the back and replaced the battery. It worked fine for another six months. Removing the back broke the seal, however, and water got in when I wore it in the pool. So now I'm buying another.

Ordered the Fast Back version. Watch came with strap busted. Returned for refund and after reading other reviews will not replace with this watch type.

I like the watch very much. Really like the Flix function since I run at 5am in the dark. However after 6mo either the light is not working or the battery is low. Also have see some "fogging" on the crysal. Not sure what that is.

A very affordable watch, has 100 laps, 5 alarms, I run with it, swim, climb, cycle...it has big numbers to check on times easily. Great .

This watch works great as long as it's running. Mine died after 9 months. I've never abused the watch and after reading all the disclaimers I'm not bothering with a claim. But I'm not buying another Timex either.

Purchased the watch and it dies three months later. The buttons get stuck and battery wears down. I will not purchase another

I am a triathlete and like this watch because after a flip turn in the pool I can easily read the numbers and see if I am on time, etc. The head/face is a little larger than others but that's the advantage when it comes to the pool and working out, being able to quickly see your time. I love this watch.

I love it since it has a 100 lap count because I need it since I normaly do 100 laps. Also I like it because it has nine timers. They come in really handy.

It is a very affordable and comfortable watch. For an older runner like me, it is great that we have a watch with these capabilities and also large digits which makes it easier for people with vision like mine to see the numbers easily. I know a lot of track and field coaches who have and use this watch as well.
