I've owned 2 of these. The strap broke on the first one , so I thought I just got a lemon, and I bought another. I've had it 18 months and the strap broke. I haven't even changed the battery and the strap breaks!!! I doubt if I'll buy another. Everything else worked great.

I have had two of these. I like the size and the two time zones. I changed the battery in the last one and then the sound dissappeared. Once the strap keeper brakes. It is time to get a new one. I've done 5 ironman but never train with this. I use a heart monitor watch.

I've had this watch for over a year now and it rocks. I wear it all day and don't even notice it. The buttons were stiff when I first purchased it, but if you use it regularly like I do, they loosen up and are real easy to push. A great ironman!!!

My little rubber piece holding the band broke, too. Granted this watch is several years old. Will probably gfo to Target to get a new one as it is 10.00 cheaper with the VIP discount.

i bought this watch over a year ago and wear it everyday... in bed, in the shower... i never take it off. The small piece that holds down the excess band just broke so i am buying a new one. I rocked this in the AFC half and Marine Corps Marathon. Its a super light rad watch.

I like the way this watch looks & feels. (It's the third Ironman I've owned.) However, I should have followed previous reviews/posts because 2 months after I bought this model, the Stop/Reset button is no longer responding. It only allows me to Reset the Chrono feature. So it's nowhere near as useful for my runs. Wish I hadn't thrown out the packaging.

I've found the same problem with the buttons the other reviews covered. The Start/Split button is very stiff. You have to pound it to get it to work; and then it frequently registers twice. Otherwise it's a decent watch. My aging, far sighted eyes can read the big numbers while running but since the buttons are not the best it's not worth using on runs.

I liked the larger numbers, have not had trouble with the strap, but the start/split button is hard to press, it sometimes will not engage, sometimes it engages twice so that you get a split of less than a second.

I love the look but the function is terrible. All buttons are hard to use but the start/split button was hard since I bought it. The start split rubber coating has worn through to the plastic and no longer says start/split. I never use it in competition as the buttons are too hard to push and I get quite a few extra laps or missed laps. My other two ironman watches were much better to use but not as cool looking.

I like the watch but the start/split button is very hard to start and stop after only a few months. This makes it almost unusable for workouts and racing.

I've owned several Timex watches, and this one is the best yet.
