I bought this watch a couple of years ago and have been very disappointed with it. Everything worked consistently for only a few months. Then I discovered the GPS only worked in certain areas. My watch then wouldn't receive the signal from my heart rate monitor. I'm now down to just a watch with

I have not had any problems with picking up a signal, and I use this on both open roads and tree-covered trails. I think it is a great product! I'm impressed with all of the options and the accuracy.
