Sat, September 13,2008:
I had the unit for about 3 weeks before returning it. The GPS worked about 50% of the time, which was very frustrating. The Heart Rate monitor worked well and so did the watch, but I had purchased it mainly for the GPS, which, as noted above, was not reliable.

After only one month of use the buttons got stuck in the face and it wouldn't change modes! Although it is extremely user friendly and is a GREAT training must have tool, get a different brand! For this kind of money the frustration was NOT worth it! I haven't even gone thru the exchange/return end...

Fri, August 08,2008:
I liked this watch when I first starting using it, did not really find it that complicated per previous notes. However, I have now been having a very hard time keeping my GPS signal. Idon't know if this is because my battery is low (the watch does not indicate this as a prob.) or if something else i...

The system is great. It provides great training information but I found that the chrono sometimes will stop when you are running. The buttons are too soft and can be easily pressed.

I have used two of these bodylink systems. I found that the heart rate monitor did not work at all on either. I returned the first one, and found the replacement hrm did not work either. The gps is decent, but on out and back courses, I have noticed that it will be off by up to half a mile. For ...

I don't have anything to which I can make a comparison, except an old predecessor to this model. On that basis, I think this is a great product. However, I found the new model to be complicated to use, and the user guide to be poorly written. It took me five or six training sessions to finally ge...

Mon, January 01,2007:
The distance monitor can be off by small amounts if you are not travelling in a relatively straight line. However the heart rate monitoring is excellent, and the watch will display a large combination of different data. I put mine on pace, % of max heart rate, and total time. The watch will sound...

I am on my second watch and am ready to it back like the first one. The GPS randomly adds anywhere from 2/10ths to 1.5 miles, making it extremely difficult to train.

I have owned this watch for 10 months. It is outstanding. I run on roads and trails. I have never lost signal on my trail runs and GPS battery life is great compared to older Timex GPS units. I use the autosplits to keep track of my runs at 1/2 mile (user setable) splits. When done I can go back a...
