Comments about Mens Under Armour Spectre Running Shoe:

I purchased these shoes on sale. I love Under Armour apparel and since the price was right on these shoes I gave them a look. As soon as I tried them on I liked them. They felt very comfortable. I was skeptical because Under Armour isn't known for their shoes. But based on Under Armour's reputation for apparel, I gave these shoe a try. I am so glad I did. I am a very neutral runner and these shoes feel great on my feet. The cushioning is just right, not too hard and not too soft. The shoe guides my foot perfectly. I can honestly say that I think this is a fantastic shoe. Other reviewers didn't like the footsleeve but I like it a lot. It doesn't feel the least bit awkward to me. All in all, if you are a neutral runner these shoes are worth a look.

I'd give this shoe between a 3.5 and a 4. Not a bad try for the first attempt at running shoes. Still a ways to go.

Comments about Mens Under Armour Spectre Running Shoe:

Overall it's a acceptable shoe. I've worn Nike Pegasus for a couple of years and decided to switch (no real reason). As far as the "pricess and the pea" comment goes. I run about an average of 5 miles a day, with two 10+ long runs per week. The previous commenter is correct. The "foot sock" has no cushioning in it and rubs top of your foot off. I've owned them for about two months (200ish miles). I will probably switch back to Nike when they go flat.

6'0', 220lbs; anyone with plantar fasciitis should not wear these shoes. I found the shoes to be extremeley comfortable and light. However, the sole flex does have adverse reaction to my plantar fascia.

Comments about Mens Under Armour Spectre Running Shoe:

I got a pair for a test run. The seam between the two materials inside the heel causes terrible blisters. I don't see how any runner can wear these without the same problem. Can't comment on anything else as the shoe was let down instantly by this.

A nice suprize! I loved the feel of the upper, open, no seams, comfortable. The shoe has good cushion but not too soft. Great flex in the forefoot. Let's see how it handles the miles.

Comments about Mens Under Armour Spectre Running Shoe:

I have 2 runs on this shoe so far. I don't see what these other guys are talking about. The seam in the heel? What are you the princess with the pea under her bed? I am testing this shoe against the Saucony Progrid Ride, and am having a hard time deciding. The Spectre's ride is so smooth, up there with the best I've worn. I'll agree you need normal to high arches to wear it; so you flat-footers and UA haters should stop dumping on this shoe.

Ridiculous shoes. I tried them at the local RSG and they looked like duck feet, not to mention felt incredibly cheap. Maybe the others are better.

Comments about Mens Under Armour Spectre Running Shoe:

this shoe should be worn with caution by anyone with plantar fasciitis as a past injury. The sole flexes in such a way as to put excessive torque on the insertion of the plantar fascia into the heal. Buyer beware.
