The fit of these shoes is pretty tight in the forefoot. There is no way to loosen the laces to provide more room because of the design, so these shoes were not for me.

Asics stopped making my shoe so I tried this (after taking a go at Brooks and Saucony). While not for everyone, I love the feel of this shoe, especially the foot sleeve. Beyond the foot sleeve, my toes feel very "free" which took some getting used to... but it's a GREAT feeling. They provide a tight mid-foot fit that won't appeal to many but these are my new favorites (like them better than my old Asics). The picture shows a grey UA symbol, but mine is blue, checked the box, they are UA Illusion. If you need stability and like a snug heel to mid-foot feel with room for your toes to breathe, these are definitely worth a try.

I tried a new shoe usually run in Asics. Felt good at first running about 30 miles per week but after 4 weejs I got shin splints and could hardly walk. Needless to say I have gone back to Asics.

Was a little nervous about trying a new brand but since I love my Under Armour outfit I wanted to match. So far so good. Just got'em last week but have run 25 miles and still feel good!
