Comments about Mens UK Gear PT-1000 SC Running Shoe: Before i purchased these shoes, i was extremely eager to solve a problem with the knees. I had some creeping pain after running in my 6-month old shoes and i had decided it was probably time to solve it. Thus, i began an online search for a pair of shoes that would be comfortable, light, and durable. I was actually on [@] reading under the "BUD/s Warning Order" section by a Former Navy SEAL called Stew Smith. I was looking for some type of shoe that would be highly recommended by the Special Forces of the military. So then i found it. The PT-1000; the most highly recommended shoe for endurance training. Hence the name, "PT-1000", which means it is the first shoe ever built by the UK to last 1000 miles. Impatiently waiting for these shoes to arrive to my doorstep, i did even more research on the bio-mechanics of the foot and how it operates. Everything that they say about this shoe is completely and totally 100 percent accurate. I've had these shoes for two months now, and i run between 20-30 miles per week. I only run in these shoes, i have other shoes for casual wear. I am here to report the amazing comfort with these shoes. Two weeks after purchase, my knee problems evaporated into the atmosphere. Everything in my legs breathed and cried sighs of reliefs while running in these shoes. Their extremely breathable, however, they are not waterproof, which provides for aggravation if you run in wet grass in the mornings. That really is the only con about these shoes. Buy these shoes, you will not have any knee problems. Plus, they look slick and cool too, and they go great with jeans or shorts of any color. I'm no fashion stylist but they look awesome. The red and black especially. Also, i run on road and trails, and these shoes are up to the task like no other pair i have ever owned. I will buy these shoes as long as they make them. Great product. In fact, unbelievable product.

Comments about Mens UK Gear PT-1000 SC Running Shoe: Just got these and very impressed with how well they are constructed. The sole feels like it can handle 1000 miles. On my first run (5K) along a tail I never felt any slippage, the rocks or roots underfoot or loss of control while running. These trainers are very comfortable to just walk in as well as run in. They are light considering how well constructed the sole is. These shoes should last me for at least 500 miles. Will post updates....

Comments about Mens UK Gear PT-1000 SC Running Shoe: Just put 520 miles on these and can say they are beat up, the cushioning is still there as is the tread. They feel more broken in but still have the same comfort level as they did when I bought them. They work great on trails, treadmills and pavement. I think these might make it to the 1K mark.

Comments about Mens UK Gear PT-1000 SC Running Shoe: I ran on both street and trails in these shoes. Trail running seemed more geared to these shoes. Pavement running seemed "hard" on the bottom of my feet. The soles of these shoes are stiff in my opinion.

Comments about Mens UK Gear PT-1000 SC Running Shoe: It is a very comfortable shoe, not the soft type but a nice bouncy, firm, absorbing type of comfort. The fit was perfect for my medium sized feet. I am in the works in testing the 1000 miles claim, to early to say, but they are sturdy looking, and they also have a very sticky grip for pavement or the trail.
