Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Achilles Sandals Shoe:

After years of use, I wore through the soles of my dopie sandals and have been searching for a worthy successor. When I tried these on I thought they were a gift from the heavens.

Sadly, it didn't take too long of casual walking to feel the uncomfortable chafe of the toe divider. With even mildly active use, the chafing is bad enough to rub skin right off my toes.

After less than 6 months of light use, the seams on the heel straps are falling apart.

These are an almost perfect "barefoot" shoe, with a tough & protective, yet lightweight and flexible sole. I don't like the flipping and flopping of flip-flops, so I love that these attach securely to your foot from your big toe to the strap that goes over the top and around the back of your heel. Sadly, the chafing and lack of durability lead me to recommend avoiding them.
