i go to the gym and marathon training with these! i got them in blue and first i was skeptical but then i put them on. a little hard to separate my toes to get them in the toe holes the first time lol..but they're really comfortable and i love them! they look good as an every day shoe too.

I LOVE these shoes, and immediately ordered a pair of Trek Sandals because I realized I wanted more protection from rocks on trails. But I'll use these for yoga and around town and love them on grass...it's better than barefoot because don't have to worry about hurting oneself on sharp objects. I found the back heel band really tight and actually made a slit through it--now they don't bind.

I was frustrated that, after trying on several different Vibram models in the store and deciding on the Sprint and finding my size, this particular pair I recieved from R.R.S. were extremely tight on my achilles tendon. The elastic band around the shoe opening seems way too tight, compared with the ones I tried on at REI. I don't know if that's because of the number of people who tried on the shoes before me in the store... therefore stretching them out. I already wore the pair I ordered from R.R.S. outside or I might have opted to return them. Might try some sort of shoe stretcher.

I use the Vibram Sprint for running, mostly on roads/sidewalks, unless I have access to a trail. These shoes are just fun to run in; I loved running as a kid, and as an adult, I had trouble finding a shoe that worked for me. I read about the minimalist options, tried these, and I was hooked on running again. My first run in them was 3 miles, which isn't recommended. If you're new to the minimalist style, be sure to acclimate. The day after my 3-mile run, I could barely walk. After talking the acclimation guidance seriously since then, it took about a year and these are now the only shoes I run in. LOVE them!!!

I was so excited when I ordered these shoes but when they arrived, I couldn't even get the right shoe on. My husband who has been running with such shoes tried to help me but we still couldn't get it on. It seemed like my toes were too "fat" to fit into the toes although I don't have big toes so I think the model of that shoe just runs small. The lenght of the shoe was fine though. So, I'll keep running bare foot while I find a pair that fits me!
