I own 5 pairs of Vibrams and the Bikila LS is the best model I have experienced. It has great arch support, feels sturdy but not heavy and hugs my feet in all the right places. I can wear it casual or I can run with it. I don't wear socks with my Vibrams. I love running on gravel and trail terrain with the Bikila LS, they have really good traction. My legs get a much better workout than cumbersome runners and I can feel my feet and toes come alive as they work with what I feel under the shoes. It's like getting a acupressure massage for my soles. The Bikila LS feels strong enough to withstand some rough & uneven terrain. The overall material is stronger and more durable than the original Bikilas. The lace system is definitely a great improvement from the original as the original tends to loosen up over time and velcro isn't very durable nor attractive. I liked it this Bikila LS so much I bought another pair. I have the Komodo LS as well and though it is meant for more rugged uses than Bikila LS, I still feel the Bikila LS has the best support and durability. I just wish they had the red ones and in my size. I like my shoe colors LOUD! :)

These shoes haven't come off my feet since I got them a week ago. They're very comfortable. They are ideal for running around the neighborhood and lifting in the gym. You can really feel the difference in your balance. Be careful of trails or roads with lots of gravel; they're minimalist shoes so sharp edges can hurt.

Been running in toe shoes for three years now and these are the shoes I find by far the most comfortable. I have a bad lower back and running in these really feels so much better than conventional running sneaks. (Just have to switch to a minimus style for winter running as the toes get too cold!)

Curiosity finally got the best of me... I've been seeing runners at marathons running in Vibrams, the Bikila and Komodo specifically, and I just had to check them out. The Bikila is my first pair and so far, so great! I wear a womens's 9 1/2 and got the 41 - the size is perfect. The 42 was too long. I also bought a pair of toe socks, and the fit is just as good with or without socks. The socks do give a bit more cushion and warmth in the cold. So far, I'm wearing these as my marathon recovery shoes. They feel so wonderfully light!

I found that this model (with laces) is much easier to get on than my other 2 models. This pair is more comfortable and provides more protection than my KSO's do.

Side note: I work in a medical-type office. Almost all of us wear our five fingers with our scrubs. They are comfortable enough to stand on hard tile all day without back/knee aches.

Was borderline when ordering as I usually need to size up 1/2 size in running shoes. Did not do it this time per the ordering/sizing instructions but wish I had. Will be ordering the next size to see if they have a little more room. The issue is defining "tight" vs. "snug" which they do not explain in the sizing info.

This product is great, however, someone getting them should really research them before jumping into a race or long run.
