    I have run in Vibrams for a good year after 20 years in bulky shoes. While I have previously loved the Bikilas on road and grass, KSOs and Bikilas have been punishing on trails with sharp gravel and rocks. The rock protection on these is very good and really innovative. Yes, north of 100USD is a lot for a little bit of shoe, but then again, they will also last longer than regular trainers since there is no EVA midsole to wear out.

    While I have tested and returned many other shoes over the years, these as well as the Newtons are keepers!

      I purchased this shoe to run long,fast, rough trail runs in. I have three different pairs of VFFs and these are the only ones I recommend for rough/technical trails! My long runs usually are 20+ miles and these protect your feet perfectly! I have over 400 miles on these shoes right now and they still look great! The sole is starting to break down now so the protection is about 50% of original. Add this shoe to your cart, you won't regret it :-)
