Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Evo II Running Shoe:

Ensure that your expectations are inline with what this shoe is: zero cushioning but a solid puncture-resistent sole. I typically run in minimilast footwear of some kind and have logged about 25 running miles in these with no real complaints.

I tried to run with the included insoles once but they slid around, bunched up and caused blisters, so I removed them and never looked back. If I want a little more cushion, I'd wear socks instead.

I haven't tried running with these in the rain, but the shoes do shed water very readily -- which is great, but there is pretty much no traction, so I'd imagine it would be somewhat hazardous to do so.

Overall, a well-built product that I'm looking forward to using more.

Love the shoes. Love the feel, love the (lack of) weight. But I live in a city (Mumbai, India) that features concrete, and lots of it. I ran 189.4 km (as tracked by Garmin) in these before getting a hole in them. So if you can run on packed earth, go for it. If not, skip em.
