Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe: I am a Vibram Five Fingers convert. I've been running in Bikila's for 2 years and really like them. My ultra runner friend keeps telling me I need something for trails to protect my feet, so these were the least expensive trail running neutral shoe I've seen. I was confused by the size charts and ordered a 43 when I should have ordered a 42. Even with my thickest Smartwool socks they are too loose for my liking. They were okay at the start of my first 7 mile trail run but by the end I felt like I was dragging them along. Great traction on trails. The round shoelace came untied twice even with double knots so I will probably replace them with flat laces.

Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe: Ran 12km along the beach today; deep sand, rocks and water. These shoes handled everything. Felt like I was running barefoot, but with the extra grip and protection from the rocks and sharp broken shells offered by my Vivos, I didn't have to hold back at all. It was like giving a BMX rider a trail bike!

Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe: I've tried a few minimalist shoes and I really like the Vivo Barefoot. This model in particular has a nice wide toe box which allows the foot the room it needs to spread for natural barefoot mechanics. These shoes are great for snow/ice covered sidewalks in winter. The breathability means they can be a little chilly at first, but once I get going it's not a problem.

Comments about Mens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe: I'm not sure how these are selling before the VIVOBAREFOOT site is even releasing them, but I am glad they are. I found the black and yellow online. I first put them on for a 20 mile run on a gravel/mud trail with a couple patches of pavement. Not a single hot spot and my feet felt great in the end. The tread is very aggressive and would not be comfortable on miles of pavement. I took out the inserts that come with the shoes after about 3 miles and was much happier without them.
