Great for wide feet

Comments about Womens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe:

I'm excited about these shoes. I have been trying to love the Merrell Pace Glove but they are too narrow for my Fred Flinstone feet. I've also tried the new Vibram Five Fingers trail shoes, but the new design makes it uncomfortable across the top of my midfoot.

I've only had the chance to take these up the trails once for 4 miles, but so far I love them.

They are wide enough so there's no problem with it pinching or tightness when my feet expand. I didn't get any blisters that I would get with the Vibram Five Fingers. They also provide more protection against rocks and more grip on loose soil than the Merrell Pace Glove.

The one negative comment is the shoelaces. They were constantly coming untied, but that isn't a reason to not love these shoes. I'm planning on switching out the laces for either the tri laces are ones that are NOT round.

If you want a comparison, I have the Merrell Pace Glove in a 7.5. My Vibrams and these Vivobarefoot are both in a 38. My normal street shoes are a 6.5.

Comments about Womens VIVOBAREFOOT Breatho Trail Running Shoe:

These are perfect for my 5-mile round trip walk to work, which includes a scramble up and down a steep, rock and dirt embankment. They fit great right out of the box with no hotspots. I'm used to a little more stability for running shoes, but I may consider trying them for a shorter distance. The size converter seems accurate. I wear 7.5 to 8 street shoes, 9 New Balance running shoes, and bought the Vivos in a size 39. The only disappointment is the sole seems to be wearing quickly, but the price is very reasonable so I will buy them again
