My husband and I run 25 to 35 miles a week and lift iron so we're pounding our bodies allot thus needing support for our shins. My husband is 61 and a bulky (strong and heavy from lifting weights) and he raves about the difference they make in his ability to "pound pavement" for long periods.

Comparable to my CW-X compression socks. Prefer actually to socks as they don't collect dog hair which is a testament to my cleaning more than a pro for the sleeves over the socks. There is some mild concern of looking like a tool if I wear them with shorts.

I had some soft tissue shin related injuries that would not go away and repeatedly caused me problems for the past 6-9 months. Fortunately, I found & tried this product after my recent therapy had ended--therapy provided some mild relief but nothing lasting or comprehensive.

I was not expecting this product to work very well, yet knew it was worth a shot given my persistent issue. Well, I'm very pleased to announce that this product really works! I've been wearing them now for approx. two weeks and they have changed my running life 100%. So much so that I was finally able to accomplish my goal of competing in my first 1/2 marathon a few days ago. Not only did I finish the entire event, but I had NO PAIN/DISCOMFORT whatsoever... this was amazing given I wasn't able to run more than about 3-4 miles w/o pain prior to trying this product.

Of course I'm a "raving fan" now and wear my Zensah sleeves whenever I run, walk or perform leg related exercises at the gym, no matter the timeframe or distance. Thanks again for offering such a GREAT product RRS.

I know these are the best rated compression sleeves but I don't think they are for my calves. I have some CEPs, Belega compression socks and the Skins 400 sleeves which seem to work better during the run and fit me much better. If you are thin I would go with the CEP or Skin's brand which are much tighter and seem to work much better. I am using the Zensah for recovery post run and they seem to help me recover faster and they feel great!

I was hesitant to buy these. Usually when you read the reviews theproduct rarely meets your expectations, but I took the leap any way and I have never been so happy to be proven wrong.

I have been a runner for just under 2 years now, and I just started increasing my distance substantially over the summer. In the past month I have gone from running, at most, 5 miles in one run to just running my first Half-Marathon.

Because I knew I was increasing my mileage a friend recommended buying these sleeves, and I'm so glad I did. I have logged over 40 miles in these sleeves and I can honeslty say that my calves and my shins have felt completely normal during AND after each of my runs.

I would recommend these to all my friends that run and to all my friend's friends. Buying these will not only save your legs, but it will make your runs better and your recovery quicker.

The only caution I add to this is that you will have a STRONG urge to go buy more so that your not constantly washing them after every run. Also, make sure to run every few runs without them so that your legs remember how to hold their endurancew without the support.

I bought the Zensas after trying two competing products by competitors. The Zensas are lighter, equally or more supportive, and keep my legs cooler in hot weather runs. Since wearing Zensas, I haven't had any cramping problems in my calves.

On a good day I'm 5'1''! I was nervous about the sleeves in a Small because I'm an Extra Small person! I was a competitive lacrosse player with the versatility of quick sprints to the endurance of an entire game. I abused my shins to the extent of 3 stress fractures!! What can I say... high pain tolerance! I'm not a competitive lacrosse player anymore but running is my go to no matter what![...] my previous injuries as a competitve athlete and my new focus towards my running and nursing my body to avoid repeated injuries! The sleeves give me the perfect amount of compression and I'm on the lower end of the size scale. I have yet to run in them, but after I complete all of my runs I put them on for as many hours as possible (from stretching to lounging). I don't have pain or feel any pulling in my shins.My legs love me so much more when running! If you're debating the product... STOP and just know it's good for you!

These are great! I normally have a lot of burning in my calves during runs and have to stop to stretch frequently. My legs feel great when I run now. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Very comfortable. I've been trying to rehab calf injuries. These compression socks give extra support, both during and after exercising. The fabric breathes, and is comfortable. I am hopeful they will be durable, too.

I have suffered from shin splints both prior to and following a Marathon. I founds these to provide increased circulation to the soft tissue of my inner tibia which helped with recovery.

My right calf blew up during a speed workout so I decided to try these for the first time the next day. WOW! I had no pain in that calf at all during or after the run. Bought them to help with chronic shin pain. Upping the mileage right now for marathon training and definitely have less shin pain than I normally do. I'm only wearing these on runs 7 miles and up; nothing shorter than that. I think I'm a fan.

Before I had this product I tore my calf muscle twice in the span of two years. When I healed up after many months in a cast & PT, I was really nervous about running ever again. This leg compression sleeve provides the support I really need. I wear it during all my runs & martial arts training. It's just what I'd hoped it would be.

The only con is that they are no directions as to exactly how to wear it. It's a bit of guesswork as to what area on the sleeve supports the calf & which supports the shin.

Just like many of the other reviewers of this product I was skeptical that something like this would work. I bought a single pair to try out since I was desperate for a solution to my shin splint problem.

I bought a s/m size to fit my 5'8" frame. I consider myself to have large calves and these fit perfectly.

After a sweaty run on a hot day these dried quickly and did not smell at all. I even wore them under shin guards for a soccer match and they lacked that locker room odor that most everything else gets.

As for curing shin splints... they aren't a magic pill but they come darn close. Before using these I could barely walk after a run and could only go about 3 miles before having to stop. I would have to give myself 2-3 days of recovery time before workouts to keep myself from feeling pain while simply walking.

After using these along with RICE and Ibuprofen (gods gift to me) I can genuinely feel an improvement in the way my shins feel.

The only negative is that these are expensive and their elasticity needs to be refreshed after a days use. Simply washing them in a washer firms them back up.

I'm not sure if this is a negative but felt compelled to buy a total of 5 pairs of these. That racks up quite a bill.

They have helped me with my calf cramps and allowed me to up my miles. I have not experienced any cramps since using them. They are very comfortable and they do not feel hot to wear unless the the temp outside gets way up there. After a few washes they have worn well so far.

I recently started another marathon training program. I used them originally for recovery after the long runs. The compression felt great. For my first 17 miler, I decided to wear them during the run. They were comfortable and I didn't feel like they added additional heat to the warm temperatures. The run went well and the recovery was remarkable. I didn't feel any soreness the next day. The following week I wore them again for a 20 miler. The heat was extreme but I was the only one of four running buddies to complete the full 20. I did experience some soreness the following day, but nothing out of the ordinary. I am sold on them.

These were recommended to me to help with my shin splints and they work great! I wear them anytime I run now don"t know what I ever did without them. My calves feel like they warm up much quicker and feel fatigued as quickly. My only complaint is that they stretch out over time so if you run often plan on replacing a few times a year.
