I wear these as a result of a right ankle posterior tibial tendonitis that has afflicted me since a half-marathon last year. This brace has given me good support without being too thick or overbearing. There have been times when a neoprene sleeve was more appropriate, but I usually wear this at all times.

However, do yourself a favor and buy several. They are sold individually, and you shoulder consider investing in at least 2 pairs (wash and change) to get maximum use.

Recent injury: achilles tendonitis. I use this support every time I run. I have no pain at all and no swelling. Wonderful!

I have a weak ankle and at times need.extra.stability, this product meets my needs. It fits snug and is thin, fitting nicely in my shoe.

I bought these to try for my plantar fasciitis, which I've never had in my 20+ years of running. After 4 months of battling it with PT, splints, ultrasounds, icing, stretching, massage, shoe changes, stride changes...everything changes....I stopped altogether just to focus on healing my foot. I wore these babies last night, because it was clear after trying them on that they are not going to be worn during the day, because the seam hits in an uncomfortable spot on the bottom of my foot (hence the 4 stars). That said, sleeping was a safe bet. I woke this morning, peeled them off and stood up. For the first time in 4 months, my feet did not feel tight. In fact, there was NO tightness, no pain, no nothing. I almost ran downstairs to tell my husband. Am I healed? No. But, I think I'm well on my way. They must keep my heel warm so that blood sticks in that area, which is only going to heal the micro tears. Very, VERY happy.

I wear this for long distance running. Great ankle support without the bulk. I actually position this over the ball of my foot for some support for a neuroma, so it's a little tricky to put on since it slides and rolls. Once my foot is in the shoe...no problems. If you wear it on your arch, it should be ok. I am prone to a ton of foot issues - achilles, plantar faciitis, etc. This gives me the added support to keep my issues in check. I'm ordering another one for my other ankle. This is by far the best support that I've found. I didn't give it five stars because I wish it were just a bit longer - again, I wear this over the ball of my foot which is not the intended position. Other than that...it's the best!

Great support, takes getting use to but it was a nice fit and helped with my Tendonitis in my ankle.

Used for tendonitis. Good support. Would recommend. Lies flat so you can run with it on if you like.

I slip these on with the calve sleeves and my toes breathe. Feels like someone is rubbing my feet after a run day. They are big enough on my size 7 feet to go to my toes and well above my ankles.
