Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: Right out of the box I ran 10 miles the shoe felt great. Nice cushioning with a bouncy feel the seamless sock liner was comfortable and the new lacing system held my foot in place without much movement. The shoe is perfect for both triathlon or any road racing I'll be using them for all my 1/2 IRONMAN races...Thank you Zoot your best shoe yet.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: I have to say that I like them a lot for running, although they are not comfortable for me to just wear around, feel awkward under my feet when walking. But when I run they are great. Very light for a motion-control shoe. Haven't tried running without socks but as it starts to get warmer I am sure that I will.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: Today was the first day with these on my feet (six mile run after a 20 minute fast paced bike ride)... I was impressed right from the start and being that I'm a heavier runner, the cushion and support felt great. It was also great going without socks, however, I ended up with blisters on one foot (bottom instep) and started feeling the rub around the 4 mile mark which I'm sure I can prevent next time and after I've run in them for a bit. For sprint triathlons, I'm certain going sockless will not cause this issue. For longer races using an anti-chafe on the inserts should do the trick. So far, these are the best shoes right out of the box I've ever put on my feet to run in. Very pleased and Zoot has a new big fan.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: These shoes felt great right out of the box. I tested them out on a 13 mile training run and they performed better than I'd hoped. The Barefit is great and after a few weeks of running in them they don't smell lie you might think they would.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: I selected these shoes because they are lower weight. My previous shoe was a Stability + Asics Gel Kayano 15 and was looking for a show that was lighter.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: Training for Army Ten Miler. Ran 13.5 miles first time out in these shoes. Roomy toe area, yet nice snug fit (I have narrow feet). I am 6'1", 171 lbs. Had knee surgery 4 months ago for torn meniscus. So, was pleasantly surprised that such a light shoe could give the needed support and comfort.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: Very comfortable shoe when worn sockless. I wear Saucony Hurricanes and Asics Gel-Kayano, and I made the mistake of trying the Asics sockless for a triathlon, so decided to find a shoe that is designed to be worn that way. The Zoots are very comfortable worn without socks, fit very well and have good cushioning. I am very pleased with them and highly recommend them.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: These are good for larger runners (I am 6' 1" 235 lbs) who do a lot of miles (I am training for the Portland Marathon). I have never run in Zoots before, and I have to say these are VERY comfortable and feel like the lightest running shoes I have ever owned. The cushioning is great and they are stable. I have put almost 60 miles on them in two weeks and I am very happy with them so far. The tread seems to be holding up well - better than the Saucony's I normally run in - after a couple of weeks. If you are a bigger runner looking for a pair of shoes for endurance training, you should consider these. I would give them five stars but I haven't had them long enough to grade their durability.

Comments about Mens Zoot Ultra Kane Running Shoe: 200 Lb Triathlete with stability and cushion needs. This is by far the best mix of stability, cushion and light-weight endurance in running shoe that I have ever experienced. I come from years of Mizuno Alchemy use. I am blown away that Zoot has already disco'd. Hoping they replace with similar!
