      I have been using and shopping for flats for a while and I believe I have found the perfect one.
      The Kiawe have the light, tight, fast and responsive feeling you want in a flat, while also being pretty comfortable.
      I used them in two 10 miles fast training runs, partly on road and partly on track and I had no soreness, despite the shoe is very minimal.
      Only concern I can see is durability. After 20 miles, the soles look like they saw 5 times as many miles. But I guess flats are not made to be used frequently and I will keep them for racing after the initial training test.
      They are very tights around the midfoot so you need to size up if you have a fat foot (which I do).
      I bought them for triathlons but I can see myself using them for fast run races too as I like them better than my non-triathlon flats

          I have tried every racing flat you can think of and this one is by far the best of them all! My favorite before was the brooks T7, but this shoe is so much more comfortable! Fits exactly like a glove with just the right amount of cushioning. If your even thinking about this shoe, get it, you will not be disappointed!

          Ordered this shoe for an upcoming Ironman Full Distance. The shoes upper is alot softer than the TT models and the midsole feels very cushiony. The shoe is light and responsive. You can use laces or a quick lacing system that is a nice option. My main concern is that the length is fine in the shoe but it is very narrow so I needed to size up a 1/2 size.
